Review and Completion of DWI Requirements for Documentation and Compliance
SafeDrive Charlotte DWI and SAP Services, PLLC provides DWI assessment services for individuals who have completed part or all of their requirements with another provider, either in North Carolina or in another state.
This service is used to review prior DWI-related documentation and determine whether it meets North Carolina requirements or whether a new North Carolina DWI assessment is required in order to move forward.
All services are completed in accordance with North Carolina DWI regulations.

When This Service Is Needed
This service is used when:
A DWI assessment was completed with another provider
ADETS or treatment was completed in another state or with a different program
Documentation must be reviewed for North Carolina acceptance
A new North Carolina DWI assessment is required based on prior records
Each case is reviewed individually based on documentation and state requirements.
What Is Reviewed
A complete DWI file review includes clinical, educational, and legal documentation to confirm accuracy and compliance.
This typically includes:
Prior DWI assessment paperwork
ADETS or education completion records
Treatment records or discharge summaries (if applicable)
North Carolina driving record (MVR), when applicable
BAC (Blood Alcohol Concentration) report or citation, when available
Court or DMV paperwork (if available)
These records are reviewed together to confirm case history and ensure the assessment process is complete and accurate.

OUT-OF-STATE RECORDS:
Out-of-State Documentation
If services were completed in another state, those records must still meet North Carolina DWI requirements when the case is tied to a North Carolina offense or requirement.
We review:
Out-of-state DWI assessments
Education programs, including ADETS-equivalent courses
Treatment records or discharge summaries
Supporting legal or court documentation when available
Even when services are completed elsewhere, documentation must meet North Carolina standards in order to be accepted.
If documentation does not meet requirements, additional steps will be required before the case can be completed.
